Job Description:
Nonillion is looking for motivated and driven core engineers to reinforce one of the world's largest network communications companies.
Necessary Qualifications / Experience:
Core CS engineer
> Clear understanding of siemens 2G and 3G network including.
> Fully confident and independent for the commissioning and integration of the MSC/VLR and HLR/AC.
> Practical knowledge involving system software and hardware upgrades as well as extensions i.e. MSC/HLR upgrade from SR10 to SR12 and SN upgrades.
> Experience in operation, administration and maintenance of the MSC/VLR, HLR/AC and EIR.
> Demonstrated capability of technical interface with customer and following up of faults clearance procedures with TAC3.
> Practical experience in the use of the protocol analyzers e.g. K15 and analysis of traces
> Thorough understanding of the database and capacity to suggest improvements
> Clear understanding of the GSM structure involving various linkages and interfaces.
> Experience in feature releases and patch implementation.
> An understanding of escalation procedures in fault analysis and handling of emergency situation.
> Capability to perform core optimization, MSC dimensioning, HLR migration and USSD handling.
> An understanding of the number portability concept and capability to manage the database.
> Ability to work independently and perform missions on short notice.
> Must have worked as a Siemens TAC2 support and knows TAC2 process in the core CS. And has good networking with TAC2.
Core PS engineer
> Clear understanding of Siemens 2G and 3G network with specific knowledge of the SGSN, GGSN, RNC and their commissioning and integration to the MSC and the RNC.
> In depth understanding of the respective interfaces and experience in taking and analysis of traces using the protocol analyzers.
> High level of experiences of Software and hardware upgrade of the SGSN and the GGSN.
> Good knowledge of the SS7 signaling and TCP/IP
> Knowledge of Cisco routers and Switches (must be a CCNA) and the sun systems.
> Experience in performing RNC migrations.
> Operation, administration and maintenance of the SGSN, GGSN, RNC and the IP elements.
> Experience as a TAC2 in the core PS role.
> Ability to work independently and perform missions on short notice.
> Must have worked as a Siemens TAC2 support and process in the core CS. And has a good networking with them.

Period 6 months (possibility of extension)
