Chef de Projet Surveillance Sécurité Alimentaire et NutritionManage a system of data collection and analysis based on food security and nutritional indicators in Guinée Forestiere. Monitor and provide information on a monthly basis to partners on the evolution of the trends in the food security and nutritional situation. Evaluate the major shocks and impacts on the livelihoods of the people in Forest Guinea as they relate to food security and nutrition.
General objective
Contribute to the analysis and understanding of the food security, nutrition, and water and sanitation situation in Guinea in order to assist key humanitarian actors respond to those urgent needs identified in the field.
• Orientation and training of food security team in the surveillance and monitoring techniques;
• To supervise the monthly monitoring of food security and nutrition situation in Guinée forestière on monthly basis
• To improve and strengthen the monitoring and analysis system, which is in its testing phase and running behind schedule
• Ensure that local partners (government agencies, NGO, universities, hospitals, other) are trained and actively monitoring the food security and nutritional situation in their zone of intervention.
Profile of the expert:

• Extensive experience in establishment and management of a database system for food security and nutritional surveillance system;
• Experience working with local government authorities, local NGOs, and U.N. agencies;
• Experience in implementation of food security and nutritional projects in the field;
