Position Duties/Responsibilities: SUBCONTRACT MANAGER I
Manages site subcontract operations to ensure the effectiveadministration of subcontracts. Responsible for implementation of theStandard Work Process Procedures and automated subcontract managementsystems. Responsible for the training of personnel assigned to supportsubcontract administration.
- Possesses extensive knowledge and experience in subcontractmanagement and applies that knowledge and experience to improve projectperformance.
Administration of major international contract packages and should befamiliar with complex lump sum, unit rate and cost reimbursable typecontracts.
Will be directly responsible for the contract administration processwhich involves facilitating the change management process, contractornegotiations, clients approval cycle, and invoicing of constructioncontracts; advise client's management decisions regarding contractstrategies and changes; interface directly with client regardingcontratc status; monitor and provide input into contract reports; and asrequired, assist with/advise client's disciplines of contractadministration efforts.
All work will be performed in accordance with established projectprocedures and candidate will be required to take the company's ACEStests on knowledge of Bechtel's Formation, Administration and PrimeContract Manual.
