Chief Information Officer - conakry, Guinea

Job mission
• To identify, implement, and sustain a global, standard, IT infrastructure through continuous improvement and new technology insertion as required to support strategic business growth.
• Full accountability for the Information Systems function both in operations and future direction

KPA duties
Task Complexity

• Ensure business management information needs (business intelligence, data)
• Align IS strategy to business strategy
• Support company convergence strategy and convergence strategy
• Ensure network security and disaster recovery environment and direct systems development and acquisition
• Manage the suppliers and ensuring effective delivery and cost effective arrangements
• Business planning and accountability for the financial viability of the division

Supervisory Complexity/Leadership Complexity/Managerial complexity
• Create the vision for IS and communicate and drive it through the division
• Set objectives for the team
• Monitor performance
• To inspire and motivate the team and facilitate the achievement of their objectives
• Lead in terms of technical knowledge and IS developments

Educational requirements
• Minimum of a bachelor degree in Information Systems with MBA recommended

Experience required
• 3-5 years at senior management level in an IT environment preferably (ERP Environment)
